Come and Sing Evensong

St. John’s of Lattingtown will host our second ‘Come & Sing Evensong’ on Saturday, June 6. The Musical Director will be Andrew Sheranian, Director of Music at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Wellesley MA, accompanied by Ruaraidh Sutherland, Organist of St. John’s. The day will conclude with a service of Choral Evensong at 4 p.m., led by Mo. Molly Jane Layton, Priest in Charge at St. John's. The music will feature compositions by American composers, including the late David Hogan's canticles composed for the consecration of Washington Cathedral and Leo Sowerby's rare gem "And They Drew Nigh". A fee of $25 will take paid on the day by adult singers; students in full-time education participate free of charge.
