Exploring the Verger Ministry: A Workshop for Liturgical Leaders
Curious about what a verger ministry could bring to your church? Interested in growing your current verger ministry? Join us for an inspiring and practical workshop designed especially for clergy and liturgical ministry leaders from congregations around the diocese.
Led by Kyle Sabo, Dean’s Verger at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, and joined by members of the Verger Guild of the Episcopal Church (VGEC), this session will explore the role of the verger, the unique value they bring to worship and church life, and how to launch this ministry in your own context. We'll also discuss common challenges and how a verger ministry can help strengthen and grow other ministries within your parish.
