Join us at St. John’s of Lattingtown, Locust Valley NY as we continue the tradition of offering Handel’s Messiah in the lead-up to Christmas. Featuring the talented choristers and adults of the St. John’s Parish Choir, the singers will be accompanied by an orchestra drawn from amongst Long Island’s finest professional musicians under the direction of Ruaraidh F. Sutherland. Sutherland, a graduate of Edinburgh University and a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists (London), serves as Organist at St. John’s of Lattingtown. The audience is invited to arrive early to enjoy the jewel-box sanctuary of St. John’s, with a festive reception in the medieval-inspired Parish Hall following the concert.
