Faith leaders and community members from across Long Island are coming together for a solemn, prayerful witness against unjust immigration practices. This Interfaith Prayer Walk calls for justice and an end to unlawful and inhumane detention, mass deportations, and county collaboration with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Participants will join together in prayer as an act of public witness, lifting up the voices of those impacted by harmful immigration policies. Clergy are invited to wear full vestments as a visible sign of their pastoral commitment, and all participants are encouraged to bring signs expressing their faith tradition’s solidarity with immigrant neighbors and communities.
This will be a peaceful, faith-driven gathering grounded in compassion, unity, and the belief in the dignity of all people.
