The Transition Committee warmly invites you to join us at St. George’s, Brooklyn, for a Meet & Greet Session with the nominees for the Ninth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island.
This gathering is part of the next sacred step in our diocesan discernment. These Meet & Greets are not campaign events. They are holy conversations — spaces rooted in prayer, listening, and faithful engagement as we seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit together.
At this gathering, clergy and lay leaders from across the diocese will have the opportunity to:
- Hear from each nominee about their faith journey and call to leadership
- Reflect together on the hopes and needs of the Diocese of Long Island
- Participate in moderated question-and-response dialogue
- Join in prayer for God’s guidance in this season of transition
The slate has been entrusted to the Transition Committee, and now the whole diocesan family is invited into this shared work of discernment. Your presence, prayers, and listening truly matter.
Registration is strongly encouraged to help us plan for attendance needs, including interpretation services.
