You are invited to gather at St. George’s, Flushing, for a Meet & Greet Session with the nominees for the Ninth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island.
These gatherings mark a meaningful moment in our shared life as a diocese — an opportunity to listen deeply, to ask thoughtful questions, and to discern together who may be called to serve as our next Chief Pastor and Shepherd.
These Meet & Greets are not campaign events, but prayerful spaces where:
- Nominees share their faith journeys and sense of call
- Participants reflect on the present and future needs of the diocese
- Clergy and laity engage in moderated conversation
- The community gathers in prayer for the Spirit’s guidance
Whether you are long rooted in the Episcopal Church or newly part of our communities, your voice and presence are valued in this process.
Transportation & Parking
St. George’s, Flushing has a small parking lot with very limited spaces. Public transportation is highly recommended.

Port Washington Branch to Flushing–Main Street
Bus:
Q13, Q15, Q16, Q20A/B, Q25, Q26, Q27, Q28 all serve the Flushing area
