Solemn Evensong with the Blessing of the Bishop's Crozier

The Church of the Ascension in Rockville Centre invite you to join in welcoming Bishop-elect Adam Shoemaker for a special service of evensong. During this service we will offer a prayer of blessing for the bishop-elect's new traveling crozier, which has been fashioned from a retired church pew. This event is open to everyone and will be a wonderful opportunity to offer prayers for our bishop-elect before he officially steps into his role on September 19th. Reception to follow in the parish hall.
