The Episcopal Church Women of the Diocese of Long Island are proud to once again offer scholarships to support women pursuing higher education. The ECW Scholarship is open to all women, not just high school seniors, who have been accepted for admission to an accredited college, community college, or vocational/trade school in the United States for fall 2026.
One $500 scholarship will be awarded in each county, Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk.
To be eligible, applicants must be a baptized member of an Episcopal/Anglican Church, have a high school diploma or GED, and belong to a parish within the Diocese of Long Island.
Applicants must submit a completed packet, which includes a Personal Information Form, one letter of recommendation from your parish priest or warden, and a typed essay (300 words or less) describing your involvement with your parish and/or the Episcopal Church.

This scholarship is a wonderful opportunity for women in the diocese to advance their education, while continuing to make a difference in their communities through faith and service. Winners will be notified by June 1, 2026.
