Mark Michael’s new piece in The Living Church tells the story of Bishop Daniel S. Allotey — the beloved Ghanaian bishop who became a familiar and cherished presence in the Diocese of Long Island for nearly a decade, after serving as Bishop of Cape Coast for 11 years.
“His joyful proclamation of the gospel, his delight in serving God’s people, and his clear articulation of Anglican theology have been tremendous gifts to our diocese,” said Bishop Lawrence Provenzano.
