As he prepares to officially join us in the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, Bishop-elect Adam Shoemaker shares a brief video update on his upcoming transition plans. After concluding nine years of ministry as rector of St. Stephen’s in Charleston, he is looking forward to moving to the diocese shortly.
Bishop-elect Shoemaker will officially begin working in the diocesan office on July 1st.
He will spend the summer working alongside Bishop Provenzano, the diocesan staff, and leadership bodies ahead of his ordination and consecration on September 19th.
