God willing and the people consenting, the Reverend Dr. Adam J. Shoemaker will be ordained and consecrated a Bishop in the one holy catholic and apostolic Church, and the Ninth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island. The service is taking place at the Tilles Center in Brookville, Long Island, with a capacity congregation expected. The Most Reverend Sean Rowe, Presiding Bishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church, is serving as the chief consecrator.
