Registration is now open for the 159th Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, taking place Friday, November 14, and Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the Melville Marriot. This year’s convention will bring together clergy, delegates, and guests from across the diocese for two days of worship, fellowship, and important diocesan business. In this message, you will find everything you need to know to prepare for convention—including registration details, banquet tickets, hotel booking, childcare options, choir sign-ups, necrology submissions, and exhibitor information.
Delegates and clergy, you have been emailed invitations to register.
Important: To register you must use the email address where you received your invite. If you can’t find the email in your inbox, please search in your spam or junk box. Gmail accounts tend to send this email to the Promotions box. If you have not received your invite or need to update your email address, contact us at convention@dioceseli.org.
Before You Register, Please Review:
- To register: from your invite click on YES if attending or NO if not. The registration website will open. Click on the top right REGISTER NOW button on the page.
- Banquet-Only tickets: You may bring a guest to our Friday night Banquet. Tickets are available here. Please click on the REGISTER NOW button on the top-right of the page. Tickets will not be sold onsite.
- Convention Guests: click here and then click the REGISTER NOW button.
- Complimentary Childcare: We are pleased to offer complimentary childcare for all participants. Registration is required. Please see the childcare section above your registration page for more details or click here.
- Booking a hotel room: Visit the BOOK HOTEL tab on your registration page to book your rooms. Please note that the deadline to secure a room at the convention special rate block is October 16th. There is another event taking place on Long Island that same weekend, and rooms are expected to sell out quickly. See the “Book Hotel” section above your registration page for more details.
- Pop-up Choir: If you want to be part of the Convention Pop-Up Choir for the Eucharist on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, stay tuned! There will be a Mandatory Rehearsal: Saturday, November 15th 7:00 AM and an Optional Rehearsal: Friday, November 14th (after the business meeting).
- Necrology: Please click here to send the names of former delegates to diocesan convention, General Convention, wardens, vestry members and anyone who has served on a diocesan committee from your parish, who have departed this life since our last convention. We will remember them at the Convention Eucharist on Saturday, November 16th.
