Youth & Young Adult Listening Sessions

To the Children, Youth, and Young Adults of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island,

As part of the search for the Ninth Bishop of Long Island, we want to hear directly from YOU. Your voices, hopes, concerns, and dreams matter, and they will help shape the future of our church.

We are hosting two Listening Sessions on Zoom. Click on a session to register:

Wednesday, August 27, 6-7pm  (Bring your dinner along!)

 Saturday, August 30, 10-11am

These gatherings are open to children, youth, and young adults from across our Diocese who want to share what’s on their hearts. If speaking out isn’t your thing, that’s okay too! You can still join the conversation or even respond through our Google Form(respond by August 31, at 11:59 PM).

Your feedback will be part of the Diocesan Profile we’re creating, which will guide the process of choosing our next Bishop. We truly believe the church is stronger when your voices are included, and these sessions are a chance to listen closely with open hearts to how the Holy Spirit is speaking through each of you.

We hope you’ll join us because this is your Diocese too, and your voice makes a difference!

Faithfully,

The Search Committee for the Ninth Bishop of Long Island
