Speaking at the 2026 Juneteenth Jubilee at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, the Rt. Rev. Geralyn Wolf, Assistant Bishop of Long Island, reflected on the historical challenges, systemic barriers, and deep spiritual meaning of racial healing and reconciliation. Drawing on her own experiences and her decades-long relationship with the late Bishop Barbara Harris—the first female bishop in the worldwide Anglican Communion—Bishop Wolf called us to remember that the work of justice and reparations is always centered on building bridges and repairing institutional damage to bring God's people together.
