The Very Rev. Dr. Steve L. Foster currently serves as rector of St. Peter’s, Rosedale, and dean of the Jamaica Deanery.
As a member of the Trustees of the Estate of the Diocese of Long Island, I join a long tradition of stewards of the diocese’s resources and assets. This ministry calls for careful stewardship to ensure sustainability, meet the diocese’s current needs, and support future growth. I have been privileged to serve on the Standing Committee and the Cathedral Chapter, as well as at the George Mercer School of Theology. Currently, I serve as a search consultant for the diocese and as a member of the Congregational Grant Committee and the Black Clergy Caucus.
