Chelsy DeHart Named Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island
The bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, the Rt. Rev. Lawrence Provenzano announced the appointment of Chelsy DeHart as the new Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries. She succeeds Canon Myra Garnes.
DeHart will guide the youth and young adult ministries and will support youth leaders with resources and through relationships, as they develop as leaders in their congregations and among one another. She will also form and work with a leadership team to develop diocesan-wide events for youth and young adults.
