At a recent HOB gathering, leaders spent a full week exploring how best to prepare clergy for ministry in a rapidly changing world.

“The Episcopal Church was created as a church based on democracy instead of monarchy,” said the Rt. Rev. R. William Franklin

This was the first time the House of Bishops has gathered in the Dominican Republic, a diocese of 65 congregations and 24 schools.

“The most important part of our time in the Dominican Republic was witnessing the life and ministry of the Church there."
